Holotropic Breathwork
Event information according to the organizer's description:
Holotropic Breathwork was developed by Dr. Stanislav Grof, one of the founders of transpersonal psychology.
This transformative method combines controlled deep breathing, evocative music, and focused self-exploration.
The workshop provides a structured yet intuitive process, guiding participants through an expanded state of consciousness.
Workshop Structure:
Introduction & Preparation:
Participants are introduced to the principles of Holotropic Breathwork.
An overview of the session structure, safety guidelines, and intentions is provided.
Each participant is paired with a partner, alternating between the roles of breather and sitter.
Breathwork Session:
Participants engage in deep, rhythmic breathing while lying down.
Carefully selected music supports the process, starting with dynamic rhythms, progressing into deeper soundscapes, and concluding with integrative melodies.
The experience can evoke a range of emotions, memories, and visionary insights.
Trained facilitators provide a safe and supportive space, offering guidance when needed.
Integration & Sharing:
Participants create mandalas or journal their experiences.
A group sharing session allows for reflection and deeper integration.
Facilitators provide insights and tools to help participants ground their experiences.
Holotropic Breathwork allows you to explore deep layers of your subconscious, release emotional blockages, and tap into inner wisdom. In a safe and nurturing environment, you are invited to embark on a profound journey of self-discovery and transformation.
